Facade Installation – Projects and Qualified Teams

Facade installation covers the cladding of exterior walls with non-load-bearing systems: rear-ventilated facades (RVF) of aluminium composite panels, HPL boards, fibre cement, timber slats, natural stone, or metal panels, plus facade systems with integrated insulation. The trade covers mounting the substructure (wall brackets, aluminium or timber carrier profiles), insulation, facade membrane, and visible cladding, plus all junctions to windows, doors, plinth, parapet, and penetrations. Structurally sized anchorage in load-bearing elements, correct ventilation cavity (min. 20 mm), and thermal separation of brackets are essential. Example Germany: technical rules are set out in DIN 18516 (rear-ventilated exterior cladding) and the guidelines of FVHF (industry association for rear-ventilated facades).
